No-Mix Adhesive

TruBond No-Mix adhesive system is the bonding system with many years of track record. During more than five years of sales of this adhesive system we are yet to receive even a single complaint. We offer only the best adhesive system for we understand that a good adhesive system brings a lot of relief and security to a clinician from debonding problems.

Can be used for all types of metal, ceramic or composite brackets.

Shelf life is 30 months, which can be further, increased upto 4 years by refrigerating the kit when not in use.

Material should not be stored in proximity of eugenol containing products.

Do not expose materials to very high temperatures like those found in a parked car in sun, when you go for visiting practice.

Be certain to avoid cross contamination of the paste and primer. The presence of either material in the other will result in hardening the material.

Never use a disposable brush or spatula a second time. Never dip a brush into primer, which has come in contact with the adhesive paste. It would be a source of contamination.

Instruct your assistant to keep the primer bottle close after dispensing the required amount. It would help in avoiding the thickening of primer, which can affect bonding strength due to poor penetration of primer in enamel tags.

Tooth Preparation:

Clean: Thoroughly clean teeth to be bonded with plain pumice. Prophy paste, which contains oil or fluoride, should not be used. They can leave a residue which may inhibit the etch. Rinse teeth completely with a large amount of water. Dry with oil/moisture free compressed air.

Etch: Apply etchant on the entire area to be bonded using a mini sponge or brush. Do not rub the etchant on to the enamel. Etching should be complete in 30 seconds. Allow 120 seconds for deciduous teeth. Make sure to avoid placing etchant on soft tissue.

Rinse and Dry: Rinse thoroughly with water to remove all traces of etchant. Do not allow the patient to rinse or contaminate the etched surface. Re- isolate and dry completely using oil/moisture free compressed air. The conditioned area should appear dull and frosty white. If not, re-etch for an additional 20 seconds.

Bonding Procedure:

Apply a thin coat of primer to each etched, dry tooth on the surface to which bracket is to be bonded and the underside of each bracket base. A small quantity of paste is applied to the bracket base. Place on tooth and within 20 seconds move the bracket to the desired position and press firmly. Excess adhesive can be moved easily from the periphery of the bracket base after bracket is in place. After 5 minutes, an archwire can be inserted.

Bracket Removal

To remove a bracket use a debonding plier or a ligature cutter and grab the adhesive at the enamel / adhesive interface and separate from the tooth surface. Any remaining adhesive can be removed with slow speed carbide burs or a scaler.
